Start a Youtube Channel

Starting a YouTube channel is a good idea to make some money. You can share your ideas on it. There are several Youtubers earning much money through YouTube partner program. You can share any type of videos that follows YouTube policies. You don't need to spend money for a YouTube channel at all. But if you have money to spend, you can definitely improve your video quality and it will impact your video views and earnings.

As all we know Youtube is a video sharing platform owned by Google. So you can easily integrate your YouTube channel with Google's AdSense. Then you can earn money from it :P . Wait! but you need to fullfill Google's guidelines and complete their requirements. Currently a YouTube channel requires 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours watch time within past 12 months. So, it's little tough? Hell no, if you willing to do quality videos, you'll definitely complete this requirements easily.

Then, how should i start a YouTube channel? sounds great. You only needed a Google for doing this. I thinks everyone have Google account now. Because Android need a Google account to function properly. So the things may done be smooth.

Let's become a YouTuber,

Step 1 :- Login to YouTube.com

Firstly, you need to login to YouTube. If you don't have a Google account create one. You can login to YouTube by clicking on "Sign in" buttom at the top right corner.

Step 2 :- Create a channel

Click on Profile at the top right corner and select Create a channel from opening menu. You'll prompt to select one from two options. Use your name and Use a custom name. 

If you select first one, your default name will be your channel name. Else you selected second one, you can create a seperate brand account with seperate name and logo under same google account.

Select default or create brand to continue.

Step 3 :- Setting up your channel

After creating your channel you have to setup your channel. You can upload logo, channel art, add about and link your website and social profiles.

Your channel is online! you can upload or live stream videos now.

Additional Setup

Here is some additional steps you can do on your channel. Take a look below,

• Get to the Customise Channel and add a channel art. You can use Canva.com or Adobe's Sparkpost to do this easily.

• Click on profile at the top right corner and select Settings button. Get to Channel stats and features under Your channel in Account settings. You can see enabled features ok your channel there. Click on Verify button to enable additional features. You need to verify it with your phone number. 

• Some of the features are still disabled because you need to complete YouTube's requirements to enable those

• Then Return to YouTube Studio and get to the settings. Switch to channel, add your channel keywords. It should be based on video topic that you are going to upload on YouTube. It would helps to get your channel at higher ranks in search results.

• Switch to Upload Defaults, here you can add default title, description, tags and licence etc..

*Don't forget to save after changing settings
